PULSE VARIETY	TYPE	DESCRIPTION
Centennial Pea	Yellow field pea	This new pea was a top-yielder in Co-op and regional trials, earlier maturing and seed size is larger than Meadow/Golden.
CDC Impress CL	Medium sized green lentil	A variety similar to CDC Meteor and CDC Richlea. It is a competitive yielder with medium maturity.
CDC Improve CL	Large sized green lentil	A variety similar to CDC Sedley. It stands well and has medium maturity.
CDC Maxim CL	Small sized red lentil	A variety which has the same plant and seed characteristics as CDC Redberry. It stands well and boasts nice seed size.
CDC Impala CL	Extra small sized red lentil	A variety that is comparative to CDC Rosetown. It is an early maturing variety.
CDC Red Rider	Medium sized red lentil	This variety has similarities to CDC Redberry, however it boasts improved yield, increased seed size and it stands very well. It is slightly larger and has a thicker seed than CDC Redberry.
CDC Greenland	Large sized green lentil	This is a large green variety that is similar to CDC Grandora in size, and CDC Plato in maturity. It is a consistently high yielder and offers the best green colour retention of all large green lentil varieties.
CDC Meadow	Yellow Pea	A variety that is comparable to CDC Golden, but with slightly earlier maturity. It still yields well and has good resistance to lodging and powdery mildew.

DURUM VARIETY	TYPE
Strongfield Durum	Strongfield is a relatively new variety of durum wheat. It boasts good, consistent yields and has very good resistance to rusts. It has fair lodging resistance and fair tolerance to sprouting, as well as slightly higher protein than the check variety (AC Avonlea).

FLAX VARIETY	TYPE
CDC Bethune	Is the benchmark flax variety that produces good yields and has moderate seed size. It is a little later maturing, but has good resistance to lodging, fair resistance to Powdery Mildew.
