PULSE VARIETY TYPE DESCRIPTION
Redcliff Small Red Lentil Highest yielding conventional red / seed type good for standard small red markets..
Dazil Small Red Lentil High yield – maturity later than impact, more yield in south / seed size most similar to impact.
Ruby Small Red Lentil High yield - similar size to robin.
Impower Large Green Lentil Tolerant to odyssey slightly later than improve / yield similar to improve with better seed coat color.
CDC Imax CL Small Red Lentil Most Similar to CDC Red Rider, Imi-tolerant, earlier maturing than Red Rider.
CDC Imvincible CL Small Green Lentil Imi-tolerant all characteristics very similar to CDC Viceroy.
CDC Imigreen CL Medium Green Lentil Imi-tolerant, improved green color retention compared to other green lentil varieties.
CDC Peridot CL French Green Lentil Imi-tolerant variety, agronomics similar to CDC Lemay. Seed size slightly larger than Lemay, and marginally higher yield.
CDC Redcoat Small Red Lentil Plump, between Blaze and Redberry in size.
CDC Redbow Extra Small Red Lentil High yield, good lodging resistance. Grey seed coat, plumper than robin.
CDC Rosebud Extra Small Red Lentil High yield, potential for new market class. Tan seed coat, plumper than robin.

DURUM VARIETY TYPE
Strongfield Durum Strongfield is a relatively new variety of durum wheat. It boasts good, consistent yields and has very good resistance to rusts. It has fair lodging resistance and fair tolerance to sprouting, as well as slightly higher protein than the check variety (AC Avonlea).
FLAX VARIETY TYPE
CDC Bethune Is the benchmark flax variety that produces good yields and has moderate seed size. It is a little later maturing, but has good resistance to lodging, fair resistance to Powdery Mildew.
